Aux Trois Couvents
Housed in a convent built in 1907 and fully renovated in 2002, Aux Trois Couvents is a gateway to the culture of the region. The exhibition entitled Regards traces a thematic portrait of Côte-de-Beaupré, past and present; the history of a shore where settled 170 immigrant families. The Classe d'Antan is a reconstitution of a classroom from the beginning of the 20th century and reminds visitors of the building’s initial purpose. Thanks to archeological digs visible at all times, archeology enthusiasts will be thrilled by the historic site that retraces the history of the two convents erected respectively in 1694 and 1830. Each year, Aux Trois Couvents offers a rich selection of exhibitions to visitors: temporary exhibitions, lectures, creative workshop, etc.
